The problem
This Kirkland shower's walls were coming apart and the shower pan was worn out. Once surround panels start separating, water can get behind them, so patching wasn't going to hold.
What we did
- Removed the old surround and the worn shower pan.
- Installed a new shower pan.
- Installed a new fiberglass shower surround.
- Rebuilt the shower plumbing fixtures, including the valve trim and handheld shower.
The result
The homeowner has a clean, watertight shower again, with new walls, a new pan and fixtures that work the way they should.
